Classic shapes, repulsive beauty and stunning creativity in footwear.
Welcome to Shoe Pr0n.
You won't find any dainty strappy numbers, flip flops, or gladiator sandals here. If you think Uggs or Crocs are acceptable forms of footwear, we probably won't get along. There are a million shoe blogs out there, but as this one is curated by me it is obviously going to be full of fabulous things.
If you were to look up the term “fierce” in the dictionary, there would simply be a picture of these shoes as a definition.
It’s unusual to see a brogued shoe like this without laces. But this marries the loafer and brogue aesthetics beautifully together on a luggage-brown vegetable tanned leather. I love the burnished toe, too.
If you’re not familiar with the English brand Edward Green, but are a fan of beautiful men’s shoes, go here and enjoy the wonder.
Kobi Levi. Elephant.
Although his inspiration is clear I think in this case Levi managed to design something both beautiful and clever. You could wear these and never once have someone ask if you are wearing elephants on your feet.
Curvy and almost comical Marni pumps.
Ribbed for the street’s pleasure.
(Those are some fantastic heels)
Science Fiction angles.
The lacey cut outs at the top of the boot would be lovely on top of coloured tights….
